anger begets greater anger

From the movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. How true is that sentence? It basically says that revenge isn’t good and nothing fruitful comes out of it. That should be every person’s mantra.

Someone did you bad. You get angry. You want to retaliate. You get your retaliation. You’re left with the feeling of accomplishment. But what comes after? Another retaliation from the person you did bad? And after he or she gets his or her retaliation, do you strike back again? Do you want to lead the imaginary scoreboard and win the delusion award?

What I love most about the movie is the ending. What were they set up to do? Feed their need for justice? Just when they get their life together for the good, they ought to do something bad once again. I love it. I love that throughout the film, you’ll see people coming and going with nothing but anger in their soul. Why do I love it? Simple: we are human beings. We are not perfect, and no amount of good can make us a perfect specimen. Sure, they were moved by recent events causing them to straighten their lives, but still, in the end, we are not perfect. We will do mistakes. And with every mistake, the best way we can correct it is by doing something good in return. Sort of like karma, and that’s what they set up to do.

Great film. Go ahead and watch it.

I may come across as a massive downer guy whose thoughts are only about brooding, but I’m actually genuinely happy. The thoughts in my head are mostly happy thoughts that I have trouble getting over with. I learned how to think positively and exert my spiritual energy towards the good. When I worry about something, I always think of solutions. And if I dont have a solution, I think about the lessons I could get from it.

Im a very positive guy, far from borderline insane. When I say that we are going to die anyway, I dont lean in towards the negative. I think of it as the opportunity to make the most out of situations because we never know when we are going to die, so might as well enjoy every minute of life.

That’s it for my TED talk.

I think what makes sleeping pills addictive is the thought that you could end the ‘day’ with ease, because just waiting to fall asleep is impossible when you cant stop thinking.

No amount of physical activity seems to exhaust you to the point of you wanting to close your eyes and rest, and you start to miss that. You start to crave for it.

Sleep is almost impossible to resist when it comes. But what if it doesn’t? Youre stuck living ‘this’ day. But what really is the difference between this day and tomorrow?

Sleep really isn’t the solution. Solution is the solution. We humor ourselves thinking that ‘its just a bad day’. Its never just a bad day; its a bad situation. And no amount of sleep or nap will let you escape that.

So, do you really need sleep? Or you need a solution? Or can you provide a solution?

Anyway, the pills are starting to register. Good night.
